Week 1: Software and Setup

The first part of any project is determining the tools you will need to perform it. In IT / development the tools can range widely. In our class we are going to need:

  • A dedicated folder structure
  • An IDE: An Integrated Development Environment is a
  • A git client and online repo
  • A local environment which we will manage with a CLI called CommandBox

This week has 6 mini courses in it, listed below. The last one is just to make sure everything is set up correctly.
