VSCode is a powerful IDE from Microsoft which is used by millions of developers all over the world. It is the recommended tool to use in this class.

Installing VSCode

  1. Visit and download the installer for your OS.

  2. Run the installer and then open the program.

  3. From the left hand menu, click on the extensions icon

  4. Search for BoxLang and then install the BoxLang Language Support from Ortus Solutions

  5. You're done for now!
