Week 1: Software and Setup

This week we are going to set up the folders structure on our local machines and start to work with a software program called GIT.

By the end of this week you'll have

  • Set up the folder structure for this course

  • Created a local git repository and added files to it

  • Branched off that repo and then merged back into it

  • Created an account on Github.com

  • Installed CommandBox

  • installed a package with the course files in it from a package manager

  • Set up VSCode (or other IDE)

  • Completed the journal in Blackboard for this class.
